Hails from Connecticut
B.S. in Medical Technology
Marist College, 2017

My name is Sarah Miller, and I am from Hamden, Connecticut. In 2017, I graduated from Marist College with a B.S. in medical technology. Afterwards, I sat for my board exam and became an ASCP-certified medical laboratory scientist (MLS). For three years, I was employed as a medical technologist in the core laboratory at Yale New Haven Hospital – Saint Raphael Campus, where I primarily worked in clinical chemistry and hematology. Though being an MLS is extremely rewarding, I am ready to elevate my skills and further specialize in infectious disease, an area I have been fascinated with from a young age. I also hope to work in an area that can promote widespread positive change, such as vaccine development or biopharmaceutical research, though I am open to many different opportunities. In my spare time, I enjoy finding new walking/hiking trails, trying new foods, and relaxing at home with Netflix.
