Hi, this is Pit Wang. I am a proud graduate of Cornell University Interdisciplinary Studies major. I designed my major as a combination of zoology, animal science and environmental sciences with application in conservation in mind. I have a wide area of interests including, but not limited to, comparative morphology of animals, epidemiology, paleobiology and philosophy. Therefore, I’m having a tough time deciding what exactly I should build my career in conservation, which is part of the reason I am in this program right now. I spent the past year working in Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, CA as an animal husbandry intern while also volunteering in UC Berkeley Museum of Vertebrate Zoology. Now, I hope MCM can bring me into the field of conservation medicine and take me one step closer to my goal. Aside from animals and conservation, I am also interested in various forms of art and entertainment like games and sci-fi stories. I also have a pet dog. His name is Luby. He is a good puppy.
