Tuition and Fees for PhD

Students are charged tuition each semester payable according to Tufts University guidelines. Students may be eligible for a PhD tuition waiver through a scholarship from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.

For first and second-year students enrolled in the PhD program during the 2017-2018 academic year tuition is $28,640/$5,000 . After a student passes his or her qualifying exam (a provisional pass is not acceptable), the tuition is reduced to $5,000 per year ($2,500 per semester) beginning the following semester for the remainder of the program. All tuition is subject to yearly increase. Students are always encouraged to seek external sources of funding.
