My name is Talia Greenblatt and I graduated this past May from Colgate University with a degree in Biology. After interning at the New England Wildlife Center, working as a veterinary technician at Revere Pet Clinic, and taking ecology courses in college I decided that while I loved working with animals I was also drawn to the topic of environmental health, particularly now as the climate is changing. I found myself being interested in ecosystems as a whole and how all the individual organisms play a part in these complicated systems. I was drawn to the MCM program by its interdisciplinary nature which I hope will help me to apply my scientific background in an impactful way. I hope to participate in field research either during or after completing the MCM program with a focus on environmental issues that affect both humans and animals today and in the future. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, skiing, playing hockey, and cooking. At home you can usually find me playing with my clumber spaniel, Duke.
