Lucas Stegman MCM’17 has a BA in Ecology and Conservation Biology; Neuroscience from Boston University. “I researched the effects of climate change on bird migration. I have volunteered at the Franklin Park Zoo, Harvard Museum of Natural History, and New England Aquarium. I’ve also worked with Mass Audubon studying piping plovers. My goal is to help wild animal populations as a conservation scientist or veterinarian. I am particularly interested in the impacts of climate change on bird and bat infectious diseases. I chose the MCM Program at the Cummings School because of its multi-disciplinary nature and hands-on experience.”
