My name is Katy Hogan and I received my BS in Ecological Biology from Stonehill College in 2017. Before entering the MCM program, I worked as a veterinary technician at a small clinic for cats and dogs. I also completed internships at the Stone Zoo working alongside the zookeepers, and with the Trustees of Reservations’ Ecology Department monitoring piping plovers and surveying plants in grasslands. I learned of the MCM program while trying to find a way to combine my interest in medicine with my passion for the environment. I hope to gain the skills and experience to do meaningful research and contribute to environmental and wildlife conservation. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dog, Scout, hiking, drawing, and reading.
