Intersectionality in Veterinary Medicine: Women of the Global Majority
Grace Hussain
The purpose of this project is to explore the lived experiences of women of the global majority (WGM) attending veterinary school. The project employs participatory focus groups in which the participants are encouraged to take the lead and discuss those topics that they find most pressing. By hosting such groups at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, the project aims to analyze how the experience of WGM may change across institutions.
