Gemina Garland-Lewis MCM’13 is a Research Coordinator at the Center for One Health Research in the Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences at University of Washington (Seattle, WA). Gemina works on several research grants within the Center for One Health Research. Her main areas of focus include zoonotic diseases, animals as sentinels of disease, surveillance of emerging diseases, and improving One Health collaboration and communication. Gemina is originally from Santa Fe, NM and received her BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from Colgate University.
