Dini Zucker, MCM’22

Biography

My name is Dini Zucker and I am from Cincinnati, OH. I graduated from Swarthmore College in 2017 where I majored in computer science, minored in biology, and completed a pre-veterinary track. During undergrad I worked at the Israeli Wildlife Hospital and Ramat Gan Safari where I solidified my love of wildlife while caring for birds, reptiles, and mammals. I also ended up getting hooked on coding in school and decided to head into the tech world for a while after graduating. I’ve been working as a software and data engineer for a health-tech startup in Cambridge, MA for the past four years. I’m now hoping to use the programming skills I’ve developed as tools to help solve the wildlife and conservation issues I care about. The MCM’s emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches to One Health problems is what really drew me to the program. In my free time I love to do crosswords and word games, hike, play ultimate frisbee, and indulge in the bachelorette.
