I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in zoology at Delaware Valley University, in my home-state of Pennsylvania. Since college, my work experience has allowed me to reach various aspects of conservation and health including zoo animal husbandry, teaching field courses in Costa Rica, rodent colony management and husbandry, vaccine management, and pediatric patient care. For the last three years I have worked at a pediatrics office in Cambridge, MA where I am a medical assistant as well as the lab and vaccine coordinator. Focusing on a one-health ideology, the Tufts MCM program was the ideal choice for me in helping bridge my two passions, wildlife conservation and human health. I am eager to utilize the program’s interdisciplinary approach in pursuing a career focusing on arthropod-borne diseases and the impact of those diseases on human and animal populations. I enjoy traveling, camping, and all things entomological. When I’m not seeking adventure, I enjoy the company of my two cats- Taco and Oakland.
