Danielle Sosnicki MCM’17 is originally from New Jersey and received her BS in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from the University of Maine. “I was employed by IDEXX Laboratories as a Medical Laboratory Technician II in their Houston lab. I am fully trained in the parasitology, serology, urinalysis, chemistry and hematology departments. I also volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center and especially enjoyed participating in their baby squirrel programs. This volunteer work sparked my interest in Conservation Medicine and prompted me to apply to the MCM program. I am very interested in studying reproduction in endangered species and would like to become involved with research and breeding programs for endangered animals in captivity, as well as in the wild.”
