Today’s MCM’18 student profile is on Brianna Laing, “My name is Brianna Laing and I graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology.  My concentration at Harvard has encouraged me to have a holistic approach to how biological systems are analyzed and is one of the reasons I was interested in the MCM program because of its emphasis on One Health.  I have an interest in marine life especially since I grew up in a coastal town in Massachusetts.  In the past, I have volunteered at the Stone Zoo, been a live blue service core member for the New England Aquarium and worked as a research assistant in the Lauder Laboratory at Harvard.  After the MCM program, I am hoping to pursue my dream of going to veterinary school.   I love animals and my family has a Siberian husky named Dakota.  On top of this program, I am continuing my ice hockey career and I will be a professional ice hockey goalie for the Boston Pride this season.”
