Hello! My name is Bahar Pahlevani and I graduated with a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati in 2017, majoring in Animal Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Since then, I’ve worked in the animal hospital and Wildlife Health Lab at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health Diagnostic Center. I was drawn to the MCM program by its One Health teaching approach, unique interdisciplinary coursework, and supportive network. I have specific interest in urban ecology, human-animal conflict, and international wildlife health and policy. After completing the MCM program, I hope to pursue a PhD that will allow me to work in these areas and develop wildlife education. When I’m not at work or school, I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, laugh as much as I can, walk my cat, Fish, and look at dogs that I’m eventually going to adopt.
